Hello. Welcome to my website. It started while I was in Europe for a semester, and I've kept it up since then. I'm now at the University of Chicago Law School, living in Hyde Park, and the story continues. If you want to say hi or visit me, email cfloyd at uchicago dot edu.

Who is Charlie Floyd? I graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2002 with a degree in Letters. Then I decided to get a second BA in German and spent the spring finishing my degree requirements at the Karl-Franzens Universitaet in Graz, Austria. Now I'm at the University of Chicago Law School and loving every minute.
This is my story, day by day.

Now I am back in Tulsa. Norman was all it could be, and more. Good times. But back at home now, I plan on having well, um, actually a pretty nice little Labor Day. We're going to go to Home Depot. Yeah, buy some wallpaper, maybe get some flooring, stuff like that. Maybe Bed, Bath, & Beyond, I don't know, I don't know if we'll have enough time.

Tuesday I'm going to drive up to Chicago. I want to check out that town, make sure my apartment's good. Staying in Julie Blackburn's guest bedroom. Thanks, Julie. Then I'm off to Memphis to visit Rachel Wright and see Beale Street. It is possible that my next stop would be Tuscalloosa, Alabama to watch the Sooners stomp the dog crap out of the Crimson Tide. Anyway I'll be back in Oklahoma around September 8th and visit Norman one last time for a few days. See you then.

Hopefully I'll blog from the road and let you know my initial impressions of the Chi.
